Anything is possible :)
We do hope to return to the South again soon, but will probably have to be mid-late next year
We don't have anything on the upcoming schedule, but we do plan to return to Atlanta again (possibly in 2016)
Why are you having a problem in getting the name copyrighted? I know that you are an Asian-American group. I have lived and worked in the Far east for many years and have never heard of your group before but I will definitely be ordering one of your albums. And I am old enough to probably be your great grandmother. Hope everything works out. The PC police are getting worse and worse everyday.
We're having trouble register our band's trademark because the Trademark Office believes it is disparaging to a substantial portion of persons of a Asian descent (even though they don't have any evidence showing this). More on it can be heard here: http://n.pr/1OSFwEh
Thank you for your support!
Yes! Definitely! We do remember you, please feel free to email email@example.com and let's talk :)
Hey Simon, I won't be at Comic Con, but I'm trying to find details about the PSU show in November. I still think it's hilarious you played at a library, but we (a bunch of young Asian volunteers) really appreciated it at the time!
There are no set details yet other than most likely a lecture/talk at 3pm in the Multicultural center; the concert will probably be 6:30 in Smith building but we'll post on our site once things are confirmed :)
Yes! I was there! It was a great time - the only time we've played a library but I hope we can do that again soon/ Will you be able to join us at one of our upcoming PDX shows? -Simon
We don't have anything booked at the moment but we might try and get something in mid Dec, after we get back from tour
We hope to be playing Seattle again soon, probably late fall or early winter, depending on when we finish the new album :)
We enjoyed your energy at the Jade Fest on 8/15. But, wow, you guys should not have started playing when the sound was so obviously f**k’d up in such a big way. Even after the singer’s mic was more or less fixed, and the guitar was brought forward in the mix, the distortion was still very bad.
Perhaps it would've been better to just lower the volume. (But then, I know next to nothing about audio equipment, so maybe the volume wasn't causing the distortion in this case.)
It was great to see those young kids so enthused about your music.
And funny enough, your music reminds me of my youth -- of the local (Boise) alt/underground bands I used to go see as a teen back in the early/mid-1980s. (I see & hear lots of bands, btw. Your sound in particular brings me back to those days.)
I hope to see you perform in a real club one of these nights.
No need to reply. Just keep up the good work.
Steve & Jessie
Sometimes we don't have any control over the issues - we sound checked earlier in the day but it was fine...though it seems like things got moved around or changed during the festival. Those things happen, we just have to keep moving forward (especially since the entire thing had to end by 10pm due to permits for the Jade District). Either way, we had a great time! And yep, we all grew up in the 80s, so that's a big influence of ours!
We'll be playing at Bossanova Ballroom on Oct 23rd. Hope to see you there!
